The Talking Bees Move Forward

The Brecksville Speech and Debate Team sent 26 competitors to the Kenston Tournament. This broke a record for Brecksville's highest amount of competitors competing.

Many shout outs will be given to the many victors from this tournament!

Congratulations to Esha Kallam and Bryce Hasman, who placed 3rd in the Policy Debate category. Another one sent out to Noah Paulsen for taking 5th place in the expository category. Also to Shamina Merchant for taking 6th place in Lincoln Douglas Debate. 

Congratulations to Frank Zhu for 4th place in LD and receiving a bid to the State Tournament! Shout outs to Emery Dalesio and Josh Jacob for getting 4th place in Public Forum Debate. Also one to Kirstin Pomales for taking 2nd Place in Original Oratory and earning a bid to the State Tournament!

"The Talking Bees are really moving in the direction!" Mark McCandless, head coach of the Speech and Debate team says.
